the dragon

The dragon's eyes are lurking,
The ears hearing the faintest whispers,
Her talons extended and waiting,
Take heed, good madams and sirs.

When night falls, she takes to the skies,
And soars on silent wings,
Be wary the lad who does tell lies,
His death is what she sings.

And with the cover of night,
She kisses the moon,
With prowess and might,
Proclaims your time is soon.
